Hosting
Every website needs a reliable hosting environment. The quality of that environment can play a major role in website speed, security, stability, and overall performance.
We host our websites through Cloudways, a managed cloud hosting platform that gives us control over server resources, performance settings, backups, monitoring, and security.
Most of our clients choose our shared hosting option, where we place a limited number of websites on each Cloudways server — typically around ten client sites. By keeping those servers intentionally low-density, we can better manage resources and avoid the overcrowding that can happen on large shared hosting platforms.
For clients who need more resources, higher traffic capacity, or a completely isolated environment, we also offer dedicated hosting options.
We also perform regular server-level maintenance and cleanup to help keep the hosting environment running smoothly.
Management
A website is not a “set it and forget it” asset. WordPress, plugins, themes, PHP versions, and security requirements all change over time.
Our websites are proactively managed by the High Effect team. We regularly review WordPress and plugin updates, check that everything is functioning properly, and handle routine maintenance throughout the month.
We also use monitoring tools to alert us when a website has a problem. In many cases, we’re able to identify an issue before the client even notices it. Once alerted, we investigate the cause and work to get the website back to normal as quickly as possible.
Ongoing Support
Technology can be confusing. Sometimes you have a simple question. Sometimes you have a big idea.
